Not so stereotypical?

Parties every friday night? Drinking 'til I can't remember my own name? Showing a lot of skin? Acting wild?
How about...evenings spent curled up in bed watching a film with a bowl of ice cream? Sweats with a hoodie?
Most of the people I know would be put into the first catagorised description. Myself and my friends, well I would place us in the second.
To me there is nothing nicer than sitting in front of the T.V on a Friday night, wearing my jogging bottoms and an oversized hoodie. Although I do enjoy the occasional party every once in a while, however I always find myself gravitating towards the more relaxing option.
There is so much you have to do when you're going out. You have to pick out an outfit, or buy a new one. You have to consider shoes, jacket and jewellery among other things. Not to mention how you are going to do your hair, are you going to paint your nails or wear fake ones or not even bother with them? Are you going to attempt a cat eye or go with a safer option? What eyeshadow goes best with the clothes you are wearing? How much do you eat before going out? What drinks are you going to have before going? When are you going to arrive? Who are you going with? All of these and more need to be answered! Why make life more complicated for yourself?
Me personally, I dislike wearing makeup! I mean I can't sit here and say I don't wear makeup, because I do. But mostly I simply fill in my eyebrows and maybe wear a bit of mascara- on a day to day basis. I only wear face products on special occasions!
So many people these days are so obsessed with going out clubbing and partying, drinking and smoking etc. I suppose I just don't see the appeal of doing this so often. Personally I would rather be comfortable at home than having all those expectations when going out.
I guess I, along with many others I am sure, go against the stereotype of people my age (college/sixth form/high school). The older generations seem to have these set ideas of the kind of people my generation are, which aren't all that nice. Not that I can blame them to be honest! But I like to believe that the people around me are pleasantly surprised when they get to know me and find that I am more than just the stereotype.
You know I love these kinds of posts! This one was written quite rushed so I'm sorry if it's not up to usual standards, either way keep up to date and check out all my social medias!
Lots of love
